Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll and AP Access Awards

Fontana High School has been recognized on the AP School Honor Roll at the Bronze level, a distinction that highlights its commitment to academic excellence and college readiness. This recognition is based on the school's success in encouraging students to challenge themselves with Advanced Placement (AP) coursework. By meeting key criteria—such as ensuring that at least 40% of its graduating class takes an AP Exam, at least 25% scores a 3 or higher, and at least 2% completes five or more AP Exams—Fontana High has demonstrated its dedication to preparing students for higher education and future success.

In addition to earning Bronze-level distinction, Fontana High School has also received the AP Access Award, which honors schools that provide equitable access to advanced coursework. This award recognizes Fontana High’s commitment to ensuring that AP Exam participation among underrepresented and low-income students mirrors the school’s overall demographics. By fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, the school is empowering all students to take advantage of rigorous academic opportunities, reinforcing its dedication to educational equity and student achievement.
